BEAMTOWER barriers are the latest and most advanced systems developed by TECNOALARM to protect outdoor areas. Each column is composed of a series of "Modbeam" modules which vary in number from 2 to 4 according to the height of the column (from 1.425 mm to 3.060 mm.). Each module is made up of two units, one with a transmitter and one with a receiver, each of which emits 2 independent beams. Interruptions to each beam is analysed to identify how the beams have been cut: this technology increases considerably immunity from false alarms. Every "Modbeam" module can be manually adjusted by 180° horizontally and 20° vertically. This allows a chain of barriers to be installed outdoors or indoors by orientating each "Modbeam" towards the barrier installed to its left and to its right. The range even offers "single" columns equipped with only RX or TX modules. RSC technology, as well as guaranteeing complete remote control and monitoring of each barrier and the entire system, simplifies and speeds up installation and calibration. With a range of 100 metres, BEAMTOWER barriers are ideal for protecting parks, large squares, industrial sites, photovoltaic installations, etc.
